Prom & Homecoming

Your Class. Their Voices.

Set up a dedicated line for prom or homecoming night. Display the number by the photo booth, have the DJ announce it, put it on the program. Classmates call in from the venue, the after-party, the parking lot — and the whole night gets preserved in their own words.

More Than a Theme and a DJ

Give your class something they can replay at the 10-year reunion.

A Prom Activity Everyone Actually Uses

Put a sign by the photo booth. The DJ announces it. The number fills with memories before midnight. Written guest books go in a box — these get replayed at reunions.

Voices From the Whole Class

Friends who couldn't make it, dates from other schools, seniors saying their goodbyes. Anyone with a phone can call in from anywhere — not just the people on the dance floor.

The Committee's Lasting Contribution

The decorations come down Monday morning. These voices don't. Years from now, the class will still have something from the night — something the committee gave them that outlasts the centerpieces.

Common Questions About Prom & Homecoming Audio Guest Books

Can the prom committee set this up for the whole class?

Yes — that's the main use case. A committee member or parent volunteer creates the event, gets a dedicated number, and sets it up as a class activity. Everyone at the dance can call in, and whoever created the event manages the recordings afterward.

How do we promote it at the venue?

We provide a shareable event page with a QR code you can print. Display a sign by the photo booth or entrance, include the number on the event program, and have the DJ announce it a couple of times during the night. The more visible it is, the more messages you'll collect.

Can people call in after the night is over?

Yes — the line stays open as long as you want. Classmates can call from the after-party, from the car ride home, or the next morning when the adrenaline wears off. Some of the best messages come the day after.

What if guests’ phones block the call or flag it as spam?

Spam filtering is a real concern with unknown numbers. The fix: include the number on printed materials so guests can save it to contacts before the event — saved numbers bypass most spam filters. Have the DJ name the line when announcing it (“this is our class keepsake number”) and share it in the group chat ahead of time. Our shareable event page also gives callers a place to see the number and call directly from it.

Can a parent set this up as a gift for their child?

Absolutely. A parent can create the event privately, collect messages from family and close friends before and after the night, and present the recordings as a keepsake gift. It works alongside — or instead of — the committee setup.
